Ecology

Domtera prefab houses symbolize a harmonious combination of modern construction solutions and an ecologically sustainable approach. Our goal is to create sustainable homes that respect nature, reduce harmful gas emissions and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Wood as a sustainable building material

Wood is a renewable natural resource that has been used for centuries due to its versatility, warmth and ecological properties. Only water, air and sun are needed for its growth, which naturally fits into the life cycle.

At Domtera, we use exclusively wood from carefully controlled and legalized mountain cuts, ensuring forest sustainability. The wood processing for prefab panel production is energy efficient, with minimal carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The amount of CO2 released during wood processing equals that which would be produced by burning it for fuel, maintaining the natural carbon balance.

Lower resource and energy consumption

The ecological efficiency of prefab construction is also reflected in significantly less material transport. Building one Domtera prefab house of 100 m2 requires only three trucks, while a traditional house of the same area requires over twenty trucks. This difference reduces fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions during transport, further contributing to environmental preservation.

Think green, build sustainably

By choosing Domtera prefab houses, you choose not only a quality and safe home, but also a future where nature is preserved for generations to come. Domtera - where homes are built in harmony with nature.
